Artist Statement

Suzanne Langley is a contemporary artist based in Christchurch, Dorset where she lives with her husband and two dogs. Working primarily in acrylics for underpainting and finishing in oils for richness and refinement. Her work is deeply influenced by the natural world where she gains plenty of inspiration walking her dogs along the coast and nearby nature reserve. Her paintings hover between the real and the imagined.

A former graphic designer, This background informs her confident use of colour and structure across her painterly surfaces. Her work aims to be uplifting bringing joy and a sense of place to the viewer.

As well as providing galleries Suzanne regularly holds solo exhibitions.
